The Nagra Reference MC cartridge is the product of a number of years of intense R&D supplemented by extensive listening tests. This moving coil cartridge is available in 4 and 6 Ohm variants. Designed in parallel with the Nagra 70th Anniversary Reference turntable/tonearm system, it is an ideal companion component to complete the ultimate LP playback platform. The Reference MC cartridge features a number of significant and unique elements. While traditional moving coil transducers utilize a single layer coil body, the Nagra Reference MC cartridge employs a multi-layer transducer featuring a double layer coil body wound with hyper-pure silver windings. The 6 Ohm Reference outputs 0.45mV @ 5cm/S. The 4 Ohm Reference achieves an output of 0.30mV @ 5 cm/S.

The Nagra CLASSIC AMP was designed for extremely high quality installations, which require high power while maintaining a perfect musical delivery of the Watts. The unit operates in pure class A over a very large power band and beyond in class AB. Each of the output stages is based on tandem MOSFET transistors of exceptional characteristics.

Based on the acclaimed design of the Nagra CLASSIC AMP, this is a powerful integrated amplifier capable of driving the great majority of speakers on the market whilst delivering exceptional musicality. The power amp section is identical to that of the esteemed Nagra CLASSIC AMP, whereas the preamplifier section is an entirely original design by Nagra R&D that sets a new standard for an integrated amplifier. Our company has always been extremely knowledgeable about power supply as designing high-quality portable power supply is a real challenge. The Classic PSU is inspired by the PL-P battery power supply, where the battery is replaced by a bank of super capacitors. Super capacitors are becoming more and more popular as they offer the advantages of a battery without having to worry about charging or battery’s life.

he Nagra TUBE DAC is a no-compromise D/A converter that can reproduce DSD 256 and 384 kHz PCM signals with an unparalleled natural rendition. Following the path to high definition sound laid down by the world-acclaimed HD DAC, we wanted to offer the latest sampling frequencies and resolution. We took the opportunity of extending the HD DAC X project with a whole new digital interface and converter to update and upgrade the HD DAC. The new digital core is built on the experience gained from the HD DAC. The design features an entirely new converter as well as a new USB interface. The result is highly impressive and also a major improvement in every format, even regular red-book CD through S/P Dif, for instance.

Powered by an external bank of super-caps, dual-mono, tube signal-path without feedback.

The HD DAC X is a step forward from the world-acclaimed Nagra HD DAC. It includes many of the technological advances from the HD PREAMP. The result is a lifelike sound with warmth and transparency, extreme dynamics and extended frequency response beyond what has ever been achieved by other D/A converters.
