The FlatCap XS can provide exceptionally low noise, dual power supplies for two separate Series 5 components; a NAC 152 XS and a CD5 XS, or NAC 152 XS and StageLine, for example.
The FlatCap XS transformer has two separate secondary windings to isolate each of the dual supplies from the other. It includes four Naim-tested and selected low-noise regulators to achieve its exceptional performance.
Each of the power outputs on the HiCap use specially selected regulators for optimum performance. The design can be used to power all of the Naim phono stages, active crossovers and preamplifiers except the NAC 552 and NAC 252. In the case of the NAC 282 preamplifier a second HiCap may be used, bringing further improvements.
The audible benefits from adding a SuperCap are fundamental to the music, improving timing, dynamic range, clarity and order. Particularly complex music becomes both easier to understand and listen to. Inclusion of a SuperCap offers the additional benefit of allowing the preamplifier to be left switched on constantly, independently of the power amplifier, keeping the unit\'s complex circuitry fully stabilised at all times.
The Naim SuperCap sets free the musicality and dynamic range of a hi-fi system, making it an incredibly effective upgrade to a preamplifier/power amplifier combination.
Bel Canto’s e.One Virtual Battery Supply (VBS) technology combines low noise switching technology, multiple stages of isolation, filtration and regulation to create a highly stable low noise power base for the VB front end audio components. The VBS1 supplies power for up to 3 front end VB designated components providing the cleanest power possible. The compact, heavy gauge, all-steel chassis provides additional isolation establishing an ultra low noise power foundation for building the ultimate audio playback system that brings music to life with extraordinary nuance and power.
